MDCon, And On!

Hello! I would like to thank those that supported MDCon in actions, deeds and spirit for making it the success that it was! I could have done it by myself, but not to the same level of success without you!

MDCon was not a flash in the pan however! I have decided to dedicate 3 years to the endeavor and a fixed amount of my resources to make it the best I can! After 2027’s shows, it is my intention to turn MDCon over to an individual, organization or community who can assure me that the same standards I have strived to achieve can be met moving forward. Also, I do not intend to profit from this endeavor, but to turn it over in such a state that it breaks even.
Now, to this end, I intend to protect the name, images and likenesses of the MDCon brand. Since this endeavor is done to benefit the MiniDisc community, any resources that I must divert to protect the brand will be taken away from what is possible to benefit the community.
MDCon is being undertaken to benefit the community at large, whether it be on Facebook, Reddit, Instagram, Twitter or Discord.
MDCon will accommodate any online community, group, association, or individual that wishes to associate with it, if that association is productive and reasonable subject to my discretion. Any community should have one representative voice to speak for it to be considered.
The goals of MDCon are as follows:
1. To introduce/re-introduce people to MiniDisc
2. To form local communities of MiniDisc users that may meet online or in person
3. To Allow the MiniDisc online communities the opportunity to meet in person regardless of their respective platforms.
To these ends, www.MDCon.Live will be designed to allow intermingling of individuals and groups across different online platforms and to facilitate the creation and maintenance of local user groups. The goal of these groups being to create in person meetups.
