MD Studio 0.6.3 is now available
MD Studio 0.6.3 is now available for macOS on both Apple Silicon and Intel Macs.
This is a substantial release for the project, bringing together a broad set of fixes, refinements, and improvements across the application. While MD Studio remains focused on the particular joy of preparing music for MiniDisc, this release is also about making the experience more reliable, more polished, and easier to use for the community.
MD Studio is built for people who still enjoy the deliberate process of making a disc: choosing a programme, arranging tracks, preparing metadata, and transferring music with a sense of intention. Version 0.6.3 continues that work by improving the underlying machinery and smoothing out parts of the experience that matter during real use.
This release includes general stability improvements, user interface refinements, transfer-related fixes, and further improvements to the way MD Studio works with its supporting services. It also continues the project’s wider goal: treating MiniDisc not as a nostalgic novelty, but as a living format with its own workflows, rituals, and practical needs.
